Micaela + Lucas | Dogwood Canyon Wedding

Micaela and Lucas had such a unique and heartfelt wedding day at the always-breathtaking Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. They said their vows in front of one of the park’s peaceful waterfalls, surrounded by candlelight and tiny hanging chandeliers that sparkled in the sunshine.

It was one of those perfect Ozarks summer days — bright, warm, and full of life. Micaela looked incredible in her sparkly gown, paired with a jeweled bouquet and custom Converse shoes that showed off her personality. Lucas wore an aqua-blue vest to match their wedding colors of silver, vibrant aqua, and purple. Their sweet baby boy was part of the ceremony too, which made it all the more special.

Before the ceremony, they shared a private first look behind a waterfall — one of the most romantic moments of the day. Afterward, we hopped on the Dogwood Canyon shuttle and explored the park for portraits, stopping at the bridge, creek, and open trails. Every corner of Dogwood Canyon is picture-perfect, and the mix of waterfalls and rustic bridges created the dreamiest backdrop.

Even though the day was hot, these two were total troopers — laughing, smiling, and enjoying every moment. Micaela and Lucas’s love story was full of sparkle (literally!), and it was such a joy to capture their adventure in one of the most beautiful spots in Missouri.
